Stachy Everything in this album reminds me of Sir Lord Baltimore and the heavy sound of the early 70's.... Pure awesomeness! Favorite track: Black White.

Release Me 03:41
Let me be far from any Accusations of my being Less than I would really hope, Far from this Empire's choke, Cold men, the easily duped, The burden of daily disputes. Release me As it howls. Release me. What if I just knock me out? My waking state comes and goes, I have to force it to flow. Made up and misunderstood, Man I'm lost in the woods. White ribbons seep through my blood. Ankle deep into the mud. Release me As it howls. Release me. This current just drags me down. Release me What if I just knock you out?

It’s like I’m caught in a hurricane. In the eye of a storm that’s raging around me. And there’s no way to really fix. Especially when I don’t even notice it’s there. I have to get through, somehow, to the other side. Find my place to sit. Sit there too, stay there, and don’t move. Out of the dust and the doom. Forget about you. There are choices aplenty. Most of them fill be with a special kind of doom. I have old tomes and stones games to occupy me, But somehow that just seems so empty, So hollow, see through. It’s like I’m caught in a hurricane And I’m supposed to believe this is what it looks like clear. I need to forget about tomorrow. I need to forget about being cruel. Forget about you. There was a field of flowers. It was red all day through. It would still be there you know. If it wasn’t for you. Where? In the loss of hours. Where? In the turning of the screw. There, in the burning of the dawn Through yesterday’s proofs.

Witchcraft 04:03
Armed to the teeth, such a thorn in my side. Her mad-capped witchcraft is sucking me dry. As black as night and as deep as the sea. There’s no escaping her hold on me. Cast me out. Cast me out on my own. Cast me out. She Cast me out all alone. A pox on my skin. A plague on my house. She’s cursed my life, there is no doubt. I’m like a raven who cannot fly, Falling to earth in the firelight. Cast me out. Cast me out on my own. Cast me out. She Cast me out all alone.

Howler 03:29
Rising and setting, the two sky figures Swing through the narrow cloud train. They cut the sky into long blue ribbons Like the sense of rising in the cold rain. Bones bulge out of oaks They harden on the red wind, And time’s conviction moves them From book to rigid book end. Meanwhile, the fires are breeding and beating Holes into hollow opinions. We slip into never speaking And preciously guard our own dominions. Fear grows out of hope Then hardens on the red wind. And sad convictions move them From book to ragged book end.

I lie awake, listen to you breath. I’ve made mistakes listening to need. I wonder what I have brought out, Out in the air, into your house. Sometimes I change. Sometimes, I’m changed. Peel with the thunder. Fall with the rain. But you’ve got to rise, rise, rise Out of the dust You’ve got to climb, climb, climb It’s never enough. Stick to the sides. Lye on the floor. Up on the hill, can’t reach the shore. I expect too much and nothing at all. Long to be yours, ignore your call. Don’t want to know Just want to be known. Say the right words Though I haven’t grown. But you’ve got to rise, rise, rise Out of the dust You’ve got to climb, climb, climb It’s never enough. I lie awake, listen to you breath. I’ve made mistakes listening to need. I wonder what I have brought out, Out in the air, into your house. But you’ve got to rise, rise, rise Out of the dust You’ve got to climb, climb, climb It’s never enough.

Black White 03:28
Who’s got it figured out yet? The ones who know you the best. You gotta guess the rest. You’ve got to pass their test. Who’ll get the trigger pulled next? The ones that know you the best. You gotta let them rest. You gotta wear their crest. Black/White So Believable. Black/White Almost feasible. Black/White Very Teachable. Black/White So achievable. Black/White Too unspeakable. Black/White Unreceivable Black/White Interchangeable. Black/White Just unbeatable. Who’s got it figured out yet? The ones who are compressed? You gotta be obsessed. You gotta seem oppressed. Lips keep moving but you never speak. Speak your mind. Speak your mind. Speak your mind.

I thought I heard her calling A letter at a time. Spelling out the future With cigarettes and something like life. Adjust or maybe falling. She does right. Standing on the corner All hands and bright eyes And something like life. Just a touch you’re broken Black and white. Long for days filled up with Stars and surprise And something like life.

Electrify 05:48
It’s so green. An emerald sigh. Down into the blood Fills you up inside. She’s underneath Yellow blown Where’s a crown and sits Upon her yellow throne. I throw me down And I breath Electrify That quiet me The moon is a garden A garden of snow A guardian through the trees Thinking down below. Their long black inky bows Arch back to back And mingle as they grow. I come around And I dream Electrified At the seam

Anodyne 05:16
It moves away in waves In twos and threes A lifetime apart to the edge of thinking. The streets recede Grow to become shadows and long She sleeps deep in the pillow. Anodyne Anodyne Shimmer the tide Down to be Shimmer the tide Falling from me Shimmer the tide Down to see Shimmer the time Falling away from me Shallow in a shallow sea. Sinking beneath The air clings like a green cloth. It slips, rolls over, The sound is lost. It would help if I could speak But I’m leaning low. Anodyne Anodyne Shimmer the tide Down to be Shimmer the tide Falling from me Shimmer the tide Down to see Shimmer the time Falling away from me

The Deep 06:58
I was out in the ocean. I was down underneath. I was swallowing water. I could hardly breath. You were there by the shore. The ground was giving way. And I just couldn’t see. And thought I heard you say: My love is going down to the deep. My love is laying down to sleep. I couldn’t think for the silence And the ringing sound. An emptiness akin to violence Was holding me down. I was seeing faces Where there were shades. I just couldn’t speak Though I thought I heard you say: My love is going down to the deep. My love is laying down to sleep.
