Wake
Walk down
No shave
Talk now
It's morning
And thunder
It's yellow
Remember how to get on
Go out
Give some
Take a little back
Take a little back
And whistle
It's never done
There's thistles
No time to give up
Farther on
Out in the garden
Sky is a night-blue
Falling to charcoal
And it's all soul
Stray cats
And the cosmos
Always trying to fix us

Coagula

Sun comes out.
Sun goes in.
It's just like our love
One minute flush and another thin.
The wind will rise like a sudden blow
And shake you down to your very soul.
But now is not the time go
And leave your love at home.
Now, while we're still going down,
Lets change this red into gold.
World looks on.
The world looks away.
It happens more and more
Each second hand, every single day.
The crowd can seem so very cold
And sees nothing beyond what they hold.
But now is not the time go
And leave your love at home.
Now, while we're still going down,
Lets change this red into gold.
You've got to move me.

Over Song
03:56
|

You'd think that it was over
Driving down this street,
But it's some kind of new day
For mediocrity.
There's just nothing out there
Or it's something I can't find,
Unless you count these sorry hearts
With their busted, sorry minds.
And the bars are filled with white dust.
I want to steal your distance,
And start back at the beginning
As if nothing ever happened.
But you seem to want it like this
And it gets even worse,
Because you don't know any better
When boy, you really should.
We'll pave every metre.
We'll take every line.
Wrap everything in plastic bags
Until we're out of time.
And the bars are filled with white dust.
I want to steal your distance,
And start back at the beginning
As if nothing ever happened.
So lets gather it up.
Lets take it again.
We'll head to the stars.
We'll head to the sea.
Oh, the bars are filled with white dust.
I want to steal your distance,
And start back at the beginning
As if nothing ever happened.

Put Me Out
04:17
|
|||
I just can't account for you women.
You've got more ways than I can count.
You've got more ways than I can shout,
But you understand me girl,
Like no one else.
And if you put me out
I don't know what I would be.
I've got to have you for the sun to adore.
I've got to have you everyday.
It's so much more than these words can adorn.
More than the life in my crooked veins.
And if you put me out,
Out into that brittle world,
I don't know what I would be
When I float so well on your breeze.
I read her eyes, one line at a time, for desire,
But what I see just comes back, back to me,
Down to what I'am,
What I know,
How I feel,
Down to how our love grows.
And if you put me out,
Out into that brittle world,
I don't know what I would be
When I float so well on your breeze.

Nowhere to Hide
04:05
|
|||
Beyond the fire is the flame
The days spread out like limbs again
I just need to open my eyes
Oh to long with this mundane
It's slowly washing out the taste
I just need to come back alive
Grow and learn
Make and put aside
There's nothing to gain
There's nowhere to hide
Still can't square these old mistakes
Half asleep and half awake
Where's that thorn sticking into my side
But you can't hold back a longing storm
Moved to feel the stress of form
Oh, just anything humble or real
Grow and learn
Make and put aside
There's nothing to gain
There's nowhere to hide

Small Stones
04:53
|
|||
We pass on this road just for a time.
We move along this stream and out of mind.
Small stones.
I've been away so long, my shoes are worn.
Will I be home, gone home, before the storm?
Gone home.
I heard you call, white shores, I heard you call.
And now it pours no more. It pours no more.
Small stones.
